My name is Tracy Barquer, and I am the proud principal of Tustin Ranch Elementary School, home of the Cool Coyotes. I am a lifelong learner and education has always been my passion. My personal goal is to make memorable moments happen each and every day. My professional goal is to inspire and motivate learners of all ages in a safe and well organized environment.

I have been married for 33 years and have three amazing children. Our oldest daughter is an athletic trainer and teacher. Our son is a paramedic in Kuwait providing civilian medical support to our troops, and our youngest daughter is in her sophomore year at Loyola Marymount University. Our first grandchild turned 3 this past year as well. As a family, we enjoy sailing, eating, and just being together!

I am excited to enter my 34th year in education. I dreamed of being a teacher since entering kindergarten and enjoyed 26 wonderful years in the classroom before moving into administration. I thoroughly enjoy working with students, teachers, and the community. Our home-school community partnership is critical to our students’ success. None of our efforts are as good as all of our efforts combined. Together, I know we can make school and learning meaningful and fun. My motto is: “Every classroom, Everyday!” - Warning: that may make it difficult to find me in my office - but I promise to always make time for parent conversations and concerns. My secretary is happy to set up an appointment with you for an uninterrupted conversation!

As your principal, you can expect that I will be visible and
accessible. I will reach out and ask for your support, ideas, suggestions, and involvement. I will encourage you to join our team, our “school family” so to speak, where preparing children for the 21stcentury and the future is our number one priority. Through team work, open communication, and a dedication to continuous improvement, we can make Tustin Ranch Elementary a place where children delight in, and enjoy, learning.

I look forward to working together this year as partners in learning - Go Cool Coyotes!!!
