The Tustin Unified School District will celebrate Classified School Employee Week, May 20-24.

“Classified school employees play a vital role in providing the welfare and safety of our students,” TUSD Superintendent Dr. Gregory Franklin said.  “They provide valuable services to schools and students, and contribute to a positive instructional environment.”

Schools throughout the District will hold activities and events honoring support service employees for their contributions to students, teachers and administrators.

Additionally, Tustin Unified will hold its third annual “Classified Celebration at the Courtyard” on Monday, May 20.  The District will recognize the school/work sites’ 2019 Classified Employees of the Year.  A reception will be held at 4:30 p.m., followed by a performance from the C.E. Utt Middle School Choir, under the direction of Kevin Harker.  The awards ceremony will begin at 5 p.m.
