Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Governor Gavin Newsom and State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond announced that all California schools will remain closed to students through the end of the 2019-20 school year, as a result of increased COVID-19 (coronavirus) cases throughout the state. The extension of school closures reaffirms the governor’s previous statements and his intention to continue the “stay-at-home” order to protect the public’s health.
There are no confirmed cases of coronavirus in Tustin Unified School District Schools.
All TUSD students, families, and staff should practice good health hygiene which includes washing your hands, staying home if you are sick, avoiding close contact with people who are sick and covering your cough or sneeze with a tissue or your sleeve (not hands).
