Legacy Magnet Academy has a magnet focus on Technology, Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship (TIDE).
The key components include project-based learning, innovative entrepreneurship-focus and design-thinking integration.
Legacy Magnet Academy opened in Fall 2020 and serves grades six through twelve.
LMA accommodates approximately 900-1000 students in grades 6-12 in phase one of development.
The 36-acre campus is bordered by Valencia Ave., Legacy Road, Moffett Drive. and Tustin Ranch Road.

This week in TUSD, UCI’s Teddy Bear Hospital comes to Heideman Elementary, expanding student exploration of medical fields, organs like the heart and science. Legacy Magnet Academy’s production of A Trip to the Moon not only gives students unique and lasting connections on campus, but also the chance to further develop their entrepreneurial and technical skills. All Tustin Memorial Academy students will participate in the Orange County Makers Challenge, a campus wide focus on further building problem solving and engineering skills. Pioneer Rocks Club aims to welcome and connect students on campus, leading with a focus on kindness like this week’s activities for the Great Kindness Challenge.
