The Foothill Education Foundation (Ed Fund) was founded to provide FHS with the financial support needed to expand our school’s educational programs. Today, the Ed Fund operates as a non-profit, charitable organization managed by a rotating group of twenty-seven FHS parent volunteers.

This year, your donations will contribute to many improvement projects and academic programs at FHS. Donations will go toward educational support materials for all subject areas, elective classes and classrooms; ongoing support for college and career counseling; and teacher professional development. Your Ed Fund donations will go directly to teachers and students and your generosity will make a measurable and positive impact on our students experience at Foothill.

Below is a sampling of the difference your donations, both large and small, made to our students at Foothill last year:

-School- Wide: Rewards for the Positive Student Behavior Programs (PBIS); LINK crew, a peer led mentoring program matching upperclassman with incoming freshmen; Library Books; and THINK Together After School Tutoring Programs

-English and World Language: Resources for world language, literature and vocabulary programs.

-Special Education: Funding for the Fundamental Skills class.

-Science and Engineering: Glassware and materials for Chemistry and Biology; and support the Vex Robotics Teams.

-Graphic Design and Journalism: The purchase of over 30 iMacs and 2 digital cameras to support these programs.

-Teacher Education: Teacher participation in the National Science Teacher Association National Conference, and the Council of Exceptional Children (CEC) Conventional and Expo 2017; AVID Teacher Professional Development.

From the $25 donation that buys resources for the classroom to the $1,000 donation that helps fund the school-wide after school tutoring programs, every donation makes a difference.

Thank you for your support!
