Football and other high-contact outdoor sports will be permitted to resume at FHS and inOrange County bringing the county in line with recent guidelines released by the California Department of Health.
The CDPH’s revised guidance on youth sports cleared the way for high-contact sports such as football and water polo to resume in counties that are in the Purple and Red tiers if the county has a COVID-19 case rate at or below 14 per 100,000 people. Additionally, Football and Waterpolo must conduct COVID-19 testing once per week in order to compete.
Testing for these sports will be required until the county meets the Red tier metric. Testing at FHS will take place every Tuesday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.YOU MUST TEST IN ORDER TO COMPETE.
