October 7th Tournament

On Saturday, October 7th, team 6627C earned the tournament championship and team 6627B won the design award at the Mid-State Tournament in Nipomo, CA.

October 14th Tournament

On Saturday, October 14th, team 6627A and team 6627B were tournament champions at the Spartan Tournament in La Verne, CA. Team 6627A went undefeated for the day and was ranked #1 after qualifications.

October 21st Tournament

Knight Time Bots win third straight tournament. This past Saturday at the TUSD Early Season Tournament in Irvine, all 4 teams made the semifinals with team 6627A winning the tournament by going undefeated. Way to Go Knights!!

Team 6627B with their Design Award

Team 6627B from Foothill High School in Santa Ana, CA earned a #1 World Ranking in the VEX Robotics Competition. The team of Tim Jang, Stephanie DeLoen, Danny Romo, Eric Lehman and Calvin Woolfolk earned this ranking by scoring higher in the skills competition than all other VEX Robotics teams worldwide. If they remain in the top 50 throughout the season they will qualify for the World Championships. Way to go Knights!!

Team B won the Skills Award and Judges Award

The Foothill Robotics team ended its regular season with a bang!

Team A were the Tournament Champions and Team B won the Skills Award and Judges Award on Saturday 2-10-18 at Lakeside High School in Lake Elsinore. Team B’s skills score of 192 points is the third highest in the world this year.

All total the Knights Time Bots won 20 Awards this season which included 8 tournament championships.

All four Foothill teams have qualified for the State Championships in Bakersfield on 3=10=18.

Foothill High School VEX Robotics teams advance to the World Championships in Louisville Kentucky.

Three teams qualified for the World Champs at the California State Championships by making it to the tournament finals or the semi-finals. Team D made the semi-finals and teams A & B made the finals. In the finals they battled the reigning World Champs but came up just 5 points short and lost 1 match to 2 in a hard fought battle. Team B also won the Excellence Award at the Tournament which is the highest most prestigious award to be earned at the State Championships.
