REGISTRATION SPORTS & YOUTH CAMPS

*These registration dates are primarily for swim lessons. For High School & Youth camps, you can pre-register here, but it isn't necessary. All sports camps can be done through mail or with the specific coaches.

REGISTRATION AFTER JUNE 16 IS DONE ON THE POOL DECK DURING REGULAR SWIM LESSON HOURS. ALL MAILED IN FORMS NEED TO BE POSTMARKED BY JUNE 10; OTHERWISE REGISTRATION WILL TAKE PLACE ON THE POOL DECK BEGINNING JUNE 19.

FOR SPORTS CAMPS, REGISTRATION MAY ALSO BE DONE THROUGH THE CAMP DIRECTOR.

Tustin Unified School District’s 2017 Summer Sports Program will begin June 19 & end August 13.

The District will offer a Summer Aquatics & Youth Programs and a High School Summer Athletics Program.  The Summer Aquatics Program includes Swimming Lessons and Recreational Swimming at Beckman and Foothill High Schools.  The High School Summer Athletics Program is open only to students enrolled at Tustin Unified High SchoolsHigh school students may only participate at the high school where they are enrolled.  High School Summer Athletics Program activities include Boys & Girls Basketball, Co-ed Cross Country, Football Conditioning/Weight Lifting, Boys & Girls Soccer, Boys & Girls Volleyball, Girls Lacrosse, Water Polo & Boys & Girls Wrestling. Available information is listed below. IF INFORMATION IS STILL LISTED AS TBA, COACHES HAVE NOT FINALIZED PLANS. Contact our office or email coaches directly for further information.

The Summer Aquatics Program begins June 19 & continues through early August. (for some camps) 

The High School Summer Athletics Program must observe a three (3) consecutive week 'Dead Period' (Practices may not be held during this three-week stretch) between the end of school or June 2, 2017 to August 13, 2017.  Schools must submit a Declaration of 2017 Summer Dead Period form to the CIF-SS office prior to June 2017 with the starting and ending date of their Dead Period. Ask respective head coaches for these dates; dates vary. THE BEST TIME TO TAKE VACATIONS GENERALLY IS DURING THIS DEAD PERIOD.

Students trying out or participating in any Foothill summer programs must have a valid physical for the 2017-18 school year. (Physicals done for the 2016-17 school year are NOT VALID)

Youth Camps are strictly for students eighth grade and under.
 
All Tustin Unified School District Coaches understand the importance of Summer School and agree not to penalize students who elect or are required to take Summer School classes.  Summer Recreation is NOT REQUIRED for High School Participation; Additional tryouts will be offered outside the Camp offering.
