College and Career Readiness
Tustin Unified School District provides students with rigorous, real-world learning opportunities that extend and apply their knowledge and skills beyond high school, supporting educational goals and career aspirations. The combination of engaging academics, Career Technical Education (CTE), early college credit opportunities, and a variety of real-world experiences support all students in becoming college and career ready.
As part of Tustin Unified School District’s commitment to comprehensive college and career readiness, students in grades 6–12 will engage with CaliforniaColleges.edu, the official platform of the California College Guidance Initiative (CCGI). Through this statewide tool, students will explore career interests, learn about college eligibility, access financial aid planning resources, and begin developing their postsecondary goals. To support this process at home, parents and guardians are encouraged to create their own CaliforniaColleges.edu accounts to view their student’s progress and stay informed. Career Technical Education (CTE)
CTE prepares all students to be college and workforce ready! Build knowledge and skill now! Learn more about the CTE pathways available in TUSD.
Internships & Work-based learning

There are numerous organizations and resources to help students to pay for college, certificate programs, and career training after high school.
