Mrs. Melissa Samson
Melissa Samson has worked in public education for 15 years, most recently serving as activities director at Kraemer Middle School in the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District. Under her leadership, the Kraemer ASB received the Outstanding Leadership Program Award three times from the California Association of Student Leaders, and was recognized as one of Placentia-Yorba Linda’s “Aspiring Leaders.”
Melissa began her career as a substitute teacher in math and science, and then went full-time and taught pre-algebra and algebra at Kraemer School. She has served as math department chair and Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) coordinator at Kraemer, and was a color guard instructor at the school.
Melissa has a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from California State University, Long Beach, and a master’s degree in educational administration from Concordia University in Irvine.
