Tustin High School Principal Jon Tuin Announces Retirement

It is bittersweet to share that Dr. Jon Tuin, principal at Tustin High School, will be retiring from the Tustin Unified School District at the end of the school year, effective June 30, 2023.  Dr. Tuin has served in public education for more than 39 years.  He joined the Tustin Unified School District in 2017 as principal of Tustin High School.

Dr. Tuin has dedicated his career to changing the lives of students.  Prior to becoming principal at Tustin High School, Dr. Tuin served as principal of Larkin High School in Kane County, Illinois, internship coordinator for Wheaton College and classroom teacher for John F. Kennedy Schule in Berlin, Germany.  

Dr. Tuin has made a lasting impact not only on the Tiller Community, but the Tustin Unified School District as well.  We are grateful for his dedication and commitment to our students, staff and community.  We look forward to the opportunity to celebrate Dr. Tuin as we near the end of the school year.  While he will be missed, we all wish him the very best as he enters retirement.
