TUSD Students Shine at Robotics Extravaganza

Over the past two weekends, 85 Tustin Unified competitive robotics teams showed their skills in the TUSD Robotics Extravaganza. Our elementary teams collaborated in the Mix & Match game, working together to build strategic stacks and maximize points. Teams at Orchard Hills, TMA, and Hicks Canyon successfully earned spots to compete in the California State Championship.
Our middle and high school teams took on this year’s challenge, Push Back, showcasing innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving under pressure. Teams from LMA, Orchard Hills, Foothill, and Beckman have advanced to the State Championship, scheduled for the end of February.
Congratulations to all of our competing teams for a job well done. And, huge thanks to TOSA MeganLund and all of our coaches for making competitive robotics a huge success in TUSD. See more photos from our Robotics Extravaganza on our Facebook page.
