Taylor Tsang Named OC Middle School Counselor of the Year

Legacy Magnet Academy Counselor Taylor Tsang has been named Orange County Middle School Counselor of the Year by the Orange County Department of Education. Ms. Tsang was honored for her professional standards, impact, leadership and service to students.

"Taylor has transformed how our community understands and supports student wellness," explained Principal Dr. Jennifer Harrison. "Her leadership has normalized open dialogue around mental health and created structures that ensure every student feels seen and supported. She’s built programs that will endure well beyond her tenure... [Her] calm strength, deep empathy, and relentless advocacy have changed our school for the better and [her] impact will continue to ripple for years to come."

Congratulations Ms. Tsang on this much-deserved recognition. Taylor will be one of only seven counselors from across the county to be celebrated at the upcoming 12th annual Orange County Counselor Symposium.
