Student Chefs Bring the Heat at TUSD Culinary Competition

We recently hosted our 2nd Annual Culinary Competition in Foothill High School’s state-of-the-art culinary classroom, bringing together student teams from Foothill, Beckman, Orchard Hills, Hewes, and Pioneer for an exciting mystery-basket-style cooking competition. The event featured eight student teams who demonstrated impressive culinary techniques, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills as they prepared dishes using surprise ingredients under timed conditions.

The competition provided students with an authentic opportunity to apply their culinary knowledge in a high-energy, collaborative environment while strengthening critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
