SMA and BHS Celebrate Día de los Muertos

Across TUSD campuses, students honored beloved departed family and friends through celebration of Día de los Muertos on November 2. At Sycamore Magnet Academy, students placed photos on a large ofrenda which included student-made altars dedicated to lost loved ones. Similarly, at Beckman High School, students enjoyed mariachi performances while art students painted faces and the BHS FEM Club passed out pan de muerto and sold horchata. The day was a vibrant celebration for all!
