LMA Hosts First VEX Robotics Competition of '23-'24 Season
Legacy Magnet Academy (LMA) hosted the first VEX Robotics Competition of the season last weekend. The tournament brought together 34 student teams of innovators and tech enthusiasts from across TUSD and Southern California. Teams, ranging from middle school to high school, competed in various categories, showcasing their robots’ abilities in design, engineering, and strategy. This year’s game, Over Under, challenges students to compete in both an autonomous programming and driver-controlled portion while scoring tri-balls in their goal and elevating at the end of each match. The excitement in the air was electric as two of our powerhouse high school teams from the Beckman Robopatties and the Foothill KnightTime Bots aligned and were ultimately crowned Tournament Champions. A huge thank you to LMA for hosting and congratulations to all of our competitors on a job well done.
