Lance Bletscher joins Foothill High School as Assistant Principal

Tustin Unified School District is pleased to announce the following administrative appointment for the 2026-27 school year. 

Lance Bletscher has been named assistant principal at Foothill High School.  Mr. Bletscher has dedicated more than 22 years to public education.  He joins TUSD from the Fullerton Joint Union High School District, where he served as assistant principal, dean of attendance, and chemistry and earth science teacher.

“I am honored to join the Foothill community as assistant principal,” shared Mr. Bletscher.  “I look forward to working alongside our teachers, staff and families to continue the strong tradition of excellence at Foothill High School.”

We are excited to welcome Mr. Bletscher to Foothill," shared Principal Michelle Villa, Ed.D. "He brings a wealth of experience, a genuine commitment to students, and a leadership style centered on relationships and collaboration. I'm excited to have him join our team as we continue building on the many strengths of our school community. 

Mr. Bletscher earned his master’s degree from California State University, Fullerton and his bachelor’s degree in geology from Northern Arizona University.
