Hewes Middle School Welcomes Brooke Darmanin to the Role of Principal

Tustin Unified School District is pleased to announce that Brooke Darmanin has been named principal at Hewes Middle School.

Ms. Darmanin brings with her more than 18 years of experience in public education.  She joins TUSD from Capistrano Unified School District where she served as assistant principal at San Clemente High School, Newhart Middle School and Las Flores Middle School.

“It is a privilege to join the Hewes Middle School family,” shared Ms. Darmanin. “I am excited to become part of this community, build strong relationships with students, staff, and families, and work together to create an environment where every student feels connected, challenged, and supported.”

Ms. Darmanin earned her master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Phoenix and her bachelor’s degree in biology/life sciences and secondary education from Gustavus Adolphus College.
