Hewes and Beckman Students Honor Veterans

Students across TUSD celebrated the brave men and women who have risked their lives for our country in honor of Veterans Day. At Hewes Middle School's Veterans Day celebration, students joined Assistant Principal Lisa Swain in presenting a flag ceremony and overview of the holiday. Guests also had the opportunity to hear from two local Veterans. At Beckman High School's Veterans Day concert, Director David Sussman led the Patriot Marching Band, Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band in presenting a host of patriotic songs in addition to recognition of attending Veterans. We are grateful for the service and sacrifice of our brave Veterans.
