Guin Foss Receives $5000 Barona Education Grant Thanks to Congresswoman Cottie Petrie-Norris

With the support of Assemblywoman Cottie Petrie-Norris, Guin Foss received a $5,000 Barona Education Grant to build math thinking through discourse and family discussion. Guin Foss will use these funds to support both classroom instruction and family engagement. Students are supported at school and at home as they think deeply about math instruction, explain their reasoning and actively engage in learning. By combining strong classroom instruction with family support, Guin Foss creates consistency and reinforces learning beyond the school day.
