We were excited to join the Tustin Kiwanis as they honored one exceptional student from Tustin, Foothill, Beckman and Legacy.
We are excited to share information with our incoming preschool, TK and Kindergarten families at our upcoming Round-up. On January 7 (Spanish) or January 8 (English), parents and guardians are welcome to join us to hear presentations via Zoom from 6-7:30PM.
We are excited to honor our 2025-26 TUSD Administrators of the Year.
Our Foothill Madrigals visited each of our middle school campuses, spreading holiday cheer as they caroled throughout classrooms. We loved seeing these talented Knights shine for their younger peers, inspiring the next generation while bringing holiday sentiments of joy to our community.
Just prior to Thanksgiving break, Tustin High School's Tiller Theatricals visited Nelson, Beswick and Sycamore Magnet Academy to bring student stories to life. Our Tillers enacted one student-written story from each grade level to the delight of our elementary viewers. In addition, members of the Tiller Theatrical troupe took the time to provide written feedback on every story submitted. We love seeing our high school students inspiring creativity and a passion for writing with our elementary students.
We have enjoyed seeing so many of our Tustin Unified students celebrated throughout December by our community partners. This month, Tustin Kiwanis, Tustin Santa Ana Rotary and Tustin Soroptimist honored our students for their academic success, remarkable character, and positive influence on campus and within our community. Students were joined by their counselors, principals/APs and family in celebration of their achievements.
Family Art Night brought the Columbus Tustin Middle School community together for an evening of creativity, connection, and fun. Families enjoyed dinner before rotating through student-led art stations, designed by their Advanced Arts students under the guidance of art teacher, Megan Weiss.
At the Annual Organization of the Board of Education, the Board elected officers for 2026. Congratulations to President Lynn Davis, Vice President Jonathan Abelove and Board Clerk Allyson Muñiz Damikolas. In addition, TSMA President Will Nedderson thanked outgoing President Jonathan Stone for his year of leadership.
At the start of the Thanksgiving break, Tustin High School welcomed more than 1,100 students to the 33rd Annual Model United Nations Conference.
This week, students from all of our high schools celebrated teachers and staff on campus through the Tustin Public School Foundation's Golden Touch Awards.
We have enjoyed seeing so many of our Tustin Unified students celebrated throughout our community by our partners in November.
Through STEM Racing, Beckman student Charles Wu and his team have taken on the challenge of designing and engineering miniature Formula 1-style cars, blending physics, modeling, aerodynamics, teamwork, and strategy.
TUSD's Elementary Girls Volleyball season finished with a fantastic display of excitement and energy on the court as young athletes from Ladera, Orchard Hills, Nelson and Beswick competed in the finals.
At their regular meeting on November 17, the Board of Education celebrated Laurie Jimenez, Coordinator, TUSD Expanded Learning, honored as an Innovative Leadership Awardee by CDE's California Afterschool Network. Mrs. Jimenez was celebrated for the many ways in which she coordinates our afterschool programs with thoughtfulness and intentionality.
Our middle school cross country teams took to the course at this year’s Tustin Public Schools Foundation Dino Dash, competing in their own exciting race.
Tustin Memorial Academy welcomed local veteran, US Naval Officer Harold Marshall, to campus in celebration of his 100th birthday.
Legacy Magnet Academy proudly hosted the 2025 OC Virtual Enterprise Trade Show, marking an exciting start to the 2025–2026 VE school year. The event brought together student-run companies from across Southern California for a day of innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaboration.
The 34th Annual Dinosaur Dash saw record crowds as our community joined the Tustin Public Schools Foundation in support of our schools
Hillview High School welcomed representatives from colleges, the military and industry professionals for their annual Career Fair. Students heard from multiple professionals, including alumni, as they shared their career paths and experiences. Following these presentations, students met one-on-one with admissions counselors and local professionals to hear about the many post-graduation options.
