TUSD Holds Groundbreaking Ceremony for

New Classroom Building at Heideman School

 

            The Tustin Unified School District is holding a groundbreaking ceremony for a new classroom building at Robert Heideman Elementary School, 15571 Williams St., at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 18.     

            The two-story building is 19,000 square feet and features 12 classrooms, staff workroom, restrooms, stairs and an elevator.                                                                            

            The building was designed by HMC Architects and will be built by Balfour Beatty Construction. The project will cost over $7 million and is being funded through the Measure L modernization program, special reserve funds and developer fees. Construction will be completed in spring 2018.
