Sixth Annual State of the Schools Breakfast Set for September 25

 

The sixth annual State of the Schools Breakfast will be held on Monday, Sept. 25, at 7 a.m. in the Sports Pavilion at Tustin High School, 1171 El Camino Real, Tustin. 

The event, co-sponsored by the Tustin Public Schools Foundation and Tustin Unified School District, will celebrate TUSD's accomplishments and feature how the District is preparing students for success in college and careers.  

Superintendent Dr. Gregory Franklin will present the keynote address, "TUSD – A Contagious Culture for Success."  His topics will include magnet programs, robotics and computer science, college and career pathways, advanced math and science programs, project-based learning, and educational technology, furniture and "wired classrooms." 

In addition, the District's new video, "Transforming Students' Lives," will be shown and entertainment will be provided by Tustin High School's ASB, Cheer Team, Dance Team and Marching Band.

Tickets are $30 for general admission and $45 for VIP (preferred seating and reserved parking).   Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
