Orchard Hills School Presents "Shrek" Musical

Orchard Hills School is presenting its first ever theater production, “Shrek the Musical," at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17 and 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18 in the school’s multipurpose room, 11555 Culver Drive, Irvine. Admission is $5 at the door; children under three are free.

Over 50 students are involved as cast and crew members in the after-school theater project, according to director and library media technician Laurie Lawver. Campus supervisor Karen Fovos designed the set.

“The students are very excited about producing the school’s first play – a Shrek-inspired musical,” Lawver said. “We hope there is a great turnout from the school community.”

Funds raised from the play will go toward future theater projects at the school.
