TESTING INFORMATION

Academic Performance Index (API) and
Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) Reports

The Tustin Unified School District, working within the guidelines of the California State Department of Education (CDE), collects, reports, and uses student academic achievement information to improve and increase the achievement of all students.

The CDE website for background information on the API is http://www.cde.ca.gov/ta/ac/ap/, and the CDE website for AYP information is http://www.cde.ca.gov/ta/ac/ay/.

API and AYP reports for specific schools and school districts are also located on the CDE website at http://dq.cde.ca.gov/dataquest/.
