Tina Kim, second-grade teacher at Lambert Elementary School, has been selected as one of five Orange County Teachers of the Year by the Orange County Department of Education.

County Superintendent Bill Habermehl made the announcement this morning in Tina’s classroom at Lambert. TUSD Superintendent Richard Bray, Board Vice President Jonathan Abelove and District administrators also were there for the special announcement.

Tina is the fourth Tustin Unified teacher in 10 years to be named Orange County Teacher of the Year. She will represent the county in the 2011-12 California Teachers of the Year Program.
