TUSD Board Seeks Input in Search for New Superintendent

The Tustin Unified School District Board of Education is conducting a search for a new superintendent.

Superintendent Richard Bray is retiring at the end of the school year. He has served in public education for 43 years – the past five years as superintendent of TUSD.

The TUSD Board of Education is seeking input from staff, parents and community members regarding the qualities and characteristics they would like to see in a new superintendent.

“We are going through a comprehensive process to select a highly-qualified person who has a track record of community involvement and is familiar with the Southern California area,” Board President Lynn Davis said.

Individuals can submit input by going to the TUSD Web site at www.tustin.k12.ca.us and clicking on “Superintendent Search Survey.”

The Board will be reviewing input at its next meeting on Feb. 14 and their goal is to have a new superintendent in place by July 1.

For more information, call the TUSD Communications Office at (714) 730-7339.
