California Distinguished Schools

Guin Foss, Myford and Tustin Ranch elementary schools in the Tustin Unified School District have been named 2010 California Distinguished Schools by the California Department of Education.

State Superintendent of Public Instruction Jack O’Connell made the official announcement today.

Guin Foss, Myford and Tustin Ranch are among 484 exemplary California elementary schools and 48 Orange County schools selected for the award. The schools will be honored during an awards ceremony and dinner at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim on Friday, June 4.
