United States Census 2010

Remember, tomorrow – April 1 – is Census Day! We are counting on you to fill out your census form.

1. It’s easy! The 2010 Census has one of the shortest census questionnaires in the history of the U.S.

2. It’s important! The 2010 Census helps ensure that your community receives its fair share of political representation and government funding. Census data affects how more than $435 billion is allocated per year in federal and state funding. The census will count all residents living in the United States on April 1.

3. It’s safe! Answers are protected by law and strictly confidential. Information collected is for statistical purposes only.

4. Your participation is vital! You can help ensure a complete and accurate count for your community in the 2010 Census.
