Special Education CAC Sponsors Awards Program

The Tustin Unified School District’s Special Education Community Advisory Committee (CAC) is sponsoring its sixth annual awards program to recognize individuals who have gone “above and beyond the call of duty” in the education of a special needs student.

The Special Education CAC’s “I Make a Difference” Recognition Awards are open to regular and special education teachers, paraeducators, classroom volunteers, administrators, staff and other individuals who have made a meaningful impact in the life of a student.

Nomination forms can be found on the TUSD Web site at www.tustin.k12.ca.us (Special Education section). All nomination forms are due to school offices by Friday, March 19.

The awards ceremony will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18 at Hicks Canyon Elementary School, 3817 Viewpark Ave.
