Eight TUSD Elementary Schools Named CBEE Honor Roll Schools Arroyo, Hicks Canyon, Ladera, Myford, Nelson, Peters Canyon, Red Hill and Tustin Memorial Academy elementary schools in the Tustin Unified School District have been selected by the California Business for Education Excellence (CBEE) Foundation as 2009 Honor Roll schools. All eight schools were recognized for demonstrating consistent high student academic achievement. The CBEE Foundation annually identifies and honors the highest performing public schools in California – approximately 1,304 this year. The Honor Roll schools are consistently raising student achievement and have made significant progress toward closing the achievement gap among all students. They are recognized not only for their accomplishments, but so that other schools can learn and replicate the best practices of Honor Roll schools. Many of these eight Tustin Unified schools have repeated as Honor Roll schools since the program started in 2006. The CBEE Foundation represents the California business community.
