TUSD Students Have "Astounding" Minds

Tustin Unified School District elementary and middle schools will be participating in the 23rd annual “Astounding Inventions” competition on Saturday, Jan. 30 at Irvine Valley College, 5500 Irvine Center Drive.

The event will feature hand-made inventions by more than 350 school children from elementary and middle schools in the Tustin and Irvine unified school districts. The fair promotes mathematics and science education in grades kindergarten through eighth.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission and parking are free.

In past years, several Tustin Unified student inventors have been selected to appear on network TV shows.
