Huskies in Action

Huskies in Action (formerly known as Ripple Kids) is looking for kids who want to make a difference in their community and around the world! We want to empower and recognize kids who have that special combination of leadership and desire to help others. Throughout the school year, we will help facilitate school wide projects by guiding kids in the steps needed to implement a successful project. Projects can vary from collecting supplies for an animal shelter to collecting toys for a local hospital to setting up a lemonade stand to raise money for a non-profit organization. Please look out for more information in the Husky Howl. We will hold several after school meetings to plan out projects.

If your child would like to implement a project on their own at school or outside of school, we will support them in any way and recognize them in front of their peers. We ask that you send us an email about how they have impacted their community.

We hope that the leadership of these kids will inspire their peers to want to help in their community and beyond.

This year we will be holding our Husky Fair (formerly known as the Ripple Fair) on Tuesday, December 12th and Thursday, December 14th. This fair is a wonderful opportunity for kids to create and sell home made products and raise money for a non-profit organization that is important to them.

In January, we will be working with Team Kids to implement a 5 week community challenge so be on the look out for more information.

Please contact Nikki Bertoni and Joanne Huang at huskiesinaction@hickscanyon.org with any questions.
