Mrs. Koski has been an academic counselor on the Wildcat team since 2001. She holds a Masters Degree and PPS Credential in School Counseling. Her case load includes students with last names A-L.
 
Mrs. Koski was born and raised in New Jersey, and traveled out west for college in 1995.  She attended San Diego State University and then National University for graduate school.  Outside of working at Pioneer, her two young boys, Dane (4) and Ben (1), keep her and her husband very busy!  Her hobbies include baking, going to the beach, and going to the gym (when the kids let her...).

• Classroom presentations for all grade levels on topics such as middle school success, college/career planning, bullying, and drug and alcohol awareness. 
 
 
Mrs. Norris Miranda is an "Original Wildcat", having opened Pioneer in 1999 as a core teacher. Since then, she has taught 6th grade core, 8th grade core, and AVID, and she earned her Masters Degree and PPS Credential in School Counseling in 2006. Her case load includes students with last names M-Z. 
 
Mrs. Norris Miranda has roots in both Louisianna and Southern California, and attended both California State Long Beach and National University.  She's a proud mom of 3 adult boys: Steven, Matthew, and Charles, and grandmother to beautiful Ivy (8).  When she's not working at Pioneer, she loves spending time with her family as well as volunteering her time with the UCLA Parent Council.  Her hobbies include watching football, cooking, and kayaking.
